Around the Studios with Danny Rogue
Posted by gunsella in Uncategorized on February 2nd, 2010
Dan Shapiro over at cityweekend.com has written a piece about recording studios in Shanghai. Lu Wan Rock came out of it very nicely. Thanks a lot, Dan. As well as doing Stegosaurus?’s new record, we begun sessions last night on a new EP for Break for Borneo. Things are going well. I’m just unsure of whether or not I want my work to be the soundtrack to tales of “backdoor tranny love”. Uuhhh. . . yeah, why not.

It’s official – we exist

Second best band in Shanghai. Next year for sure

the rogue transmission cleaned up at last month’s city weekend reader’s choice awards 2009 . we won awards in all the categories that we were nominated for – namely best band in shanghai. the coveted top position went to banana monkey . congrats, fellas. second isn’t a terrible place to be. i think it gives us an opportunity to reflect on the past year and think how we can be more “rock n roll” in the coming 12 months. next year the top spot will be ours. you heard it here first.
congratulations also to M1NT for collecting at least five awards including runner up for best toilets. well done, guys. all that hard work paid off.
what are the people saying?
